Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 8, 2026
Harthos is committed to making its fitness challenge app accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of the Harthos mobile application using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our benchmark.
Current Status
The Harthos app is in active development. Accessibility features currently implemented include:
- Semantic labels on interactive elements for screen reader compatibility (iOS VoiceOver and Android TalkBack)
- Sufficient color contrast ratios on primary text and interactive elements
- Touch targets sized to meet minimum accessibility guidelines
- Support for device-level dynamic text size preferences
- Descriptive labels on badge indicators (e.g., challenge counts announced as "3 pending challenges")
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that need improvement and are actively working on them:
- Some complex screens (e.g., challenge progress charts) do not yet have full screen reader descriptions
- Animations may not respect the "Reduce Motion" system preference in all cases
- Keyboard navigation support for external keyboards is not fully implemented
Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Harthos. If you experience a barrier or have a suggestion for improvement, please contact us at support@harthos.app. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
